Richard Schinnow

Richard is one of our newest volunteer announcers. We love what Richard brings to the KCMR table. He loves jazz music. He plays an eclectic mix of jazz, opera, and easy listening. He is a multi-talented individual who has dabbled in screenwriting, writing novels, and playing several instruments. Richard has written four novels. You can find them at the Mason City Public Library. He plays trumpet in three local bands: New Horizons, North Iowa Band, and Nonsemble. He taught English at NIACC for 20 years.
