About John
John loves 50’s and 60’s adult contemporary music. He served 10 years in the U.S. Navy. He is originally from Winona, Minnesota, where he started in radio. He was the weekend news guy at KGLO for about two years. He worked for 17 years at Northern Trails AEA, training K-12 students in television/video production. He has been swimming in Big Blue for four decades. You may also know John from his 20 years serving as a Mason City City Councilman. He comes in on Thursday mornings and chats with Bob Miller about all things Mason City. We love how he keeps us all informed!
